750 ml caged and corked bottle. Poured an unfiltered and hazy mahogany coloured BdG with a two fingers dense, creamy and beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is sweety malts, a caramel touch, strong herbs, red fruits. The flavour is sweety and toasted malts, caramel, powerful herbs, rosmarin, mint leaves, thyme, spicy with cloves and a peppery touch, raspberry jam. The mouthfeel is crispy, round, quite thin and herbal bitter. The texture is watery. This medium bodied BdG has a dry herbal finish. A strong herbal side combined with a solid malty base leads to a pleasant brew from the French Departement la Loire.
