Bottled (2002 vintage, thanks omhper!). Dark brown colour with small brown bubbly head. Aroma is malts, with caramel, nuts and some alcohol. Also some slight not-too-sweet Madeiranotes. Flavour is big bready malts balanced up with caramel, raisins and alcohol. Aftertaste has some signs of roastyness and dark dry fruits. Ages well. Rich tonguetickling carbonation.

Dark brown, no head. Deep aroma of dark chocolate, spices and dried plums. Sweet flavour of raisins, oranges, burnt sugar and spices. Long fruity and sweet finish with a peppery alcohol flavour.

dirty brown colour with almost no head, plumy aroma with notes of mocha, oily and quite heavy with an acidic aftertaste - chaotic and original; hard to rate

Bottle, vintage 2001, RBESG 2005, Grand Tasting. Hazy brown colour, malty sweet (far too sweet) flavour. Haven't had the ordinary Kloster yet, but this stronger Christmas special is too sweet to go with any traditional Scandinavian Christmas fare, except cakes, cookies and dessert.
