We took our dry Irish stout and added fresh intelligentsia espresso and a touch of lactose sugar, which adds a rich creaminess.

    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9

Pours opaque sable with a nice buff head. Quality coffee is the main component of the aroma, while roast malt, molasses, toffee and semi-sweet chocolate serve as backup singers. Flavor has a strong coffee note plus roast malt, molasses, chocolate and caramel. Texture is firm and fairly fizzy. Ink this elm and have a cuppa.
