When an increasing number of Canadians began asking for a light premium beer that didn't compromise on its premium taste, Sleeman answered. And that answer was Sleeman light. Tasting Notes: The first thing you'll appreciate is its beautiful light gold colour and dense white foam. Next you'll notice an exceptionally smooth body with hints of fresh citrus, which gives way to a subtle malt character and ends in a very clean finish. (Note: This is not the same beer as Sleeman Premium Light).

Pours a foamy white cap and has a pale golden appearance. weak lacing. Aromas of wheats, grainy malts and very faint hops. Flavours are fairly bland, malty and wheaty notes with a bit of corn in the finish. Quite excessive carbonation. Very easy to drink and perfect for hot summer days lounging on the patio.

Very very good. Best light beer I ever had. bursting with flavour, this is esentially a "light" version of their cream ale, and you can taste the cream aleness. The aroma is much greater than their 5% cream ale and this actually may even be tastier than the 5%. Best light beer ever.

This is a newcomer in the province of Quebec... not too be confused with Sleeman Premium Light. This one is really a light swill. It pours a golden colour (surprisingly not too pale) with a white head that stays a bit and leaves decent lace. Heavy carbonation and strong nose of bitter/alcohol with some corn. Watery mouthfeel with a mild taste of corn. Not much else flavour. Their Premium Light is a huge step up from this.
