Slaghmuylder Paasbier is a seasonal beer which is only obtained in the Easter period. It is a premium beer in all meanings of the word. Paasbier may be enjoyed as an aperitif, at or after a meal, or on terrace in the spring sun. Passbier is brewed with hops from the Aalst region. The beer is lagered for more than two months. The result is a splendid, fair, clear, finely beading beer with a beautiful, dense, stable foam collar. The hop aroma reaches full expression in a nice bitter aftertaste. This beer is also available unfiltered, as a result of which one can enjoy a still fuller taste. Serve at 6 to 10°C and pour out in a fluid, gentle movement.

Bottled. Hazy yellow colour with mediumsized fluffy white head. Aroma is yeast, some fruity hops and slight maltyness. Flavour is the same along with slight acidicness and spices. Interesting for a pale lager, but otherwise quite sad beer.
