Cask@Market Porter, London. Hazy goldeny amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is lots of earthy and herbal notes, some wooden notes as well as mild grass and fruits. Flavour is liquorice, quite grassy, hayish and also has some slight eggy notes.

500 ml brown bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Bottle conditioned (?), ABV is 5.5%. Clear amber to brown colour, moderate head. Strong sweetish and hoppy aroma, notes of strawberries, blackcurrants, figs, caramel and Christmas pudding. Pleasant flavour with moderately sweet fruity notes, some biscuity notes and caramel too. Distinct hops throughout. Soft and pleasant mouthfeel. A nice Christmas ale this one!

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear reddish amber colour, low white foam. Malty sweet aroma of toffee, milky chocolate and almond with a subtle but fresh enough hop aroma of soily and slightly grassy hops. Malty flavour of fudge, crackers and whipped cream with a well-balanced aftertaste of crackers, oranges and soily brittish hops.
