    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6

Slightly cloudy orange golden pour, slight white head, some lacing, well carbonated. Average Belgian yeasts aroma, not stale but just a touch lacking, ripe fruits, bread dough, light earthy hops. Decent enough flavor: nice ripe fruits esp. bananas, some lemon zest, mild Belgian yeast, light floral and earthy hops bitter. Very drinkable although light compared to the standard Belgian Dubbels.

Sampled on 12/7/2008. This abbey double pours a slightly cloudy orange gold color from a 33cl bottle. Medium sized white foamy head with nice lacing and god retention. The aroma is mangos, grassy, touch of caramel and sweet. A medium bodied Abbey double, kind of golden in color, but it still has that caramel and fruit sweetness to it. Bright yeasts. The hops are floral and earthy. Thee sweetness is constant throughout this beer. Lively carbonation, but not excessive. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
