Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9
Pours opaque dark chocolate brown with a decent tan head. Aroma delivers roast malt, quality coffee, semi-sweet chocolate, molasses and toffee notes. Flavor echoes the aroma and then some, adding woody hop and slightly bitter evergreen wood notes as well as a bit of caramel to the mix. Body is average, but fizz is strong and lively. A great Union of Stout Brewers!
