Our London style Extra Special Bitter (ESB) is one true to style. It’s a medium amber color with perfectly balanced malt character fused with the harmony of soft fruity esters and pleasant hops on the nose. This masterpiece finishes with lingering hop character and thorough user friendly delight.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy tea-like amber with a small off white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet cola and maple with grassy hops.

The flavor is sweet cola, maple syrup and some fruitiness with a decent bitter grassy hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, I'm not a fan. It tastes like a hoppy maple cola.

Bottle at Schouskjelleren, Oslo. Amber colour, moderate but lasting off-white head. Aroma of ripe berries, tobacco and resinous hops, hints of ashes. Infected? Fruity and acidic flavour, resinous hops. Tastes clearly infected.
