A murky orange colored beer with a small three fingered frothy textured off white head rising above. There's decent hang time on the head. A persistent cap and thin ringlet is left. Grassy hips and bready malt is the total profile. Light and crisp.

It pours a solid golden with a thin white head and some strands of lacing. An aroma of grainy malts, light hops, some citrus, and not much else. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of grainy malts, light hops, citrus, yeast, and mildly spicy. Not bad .. solid drinking beer.

This pilsner comes out of the tap a clear, appetizing amber with a decent white head. Aroma is strong, fruity, yeasty and slightly malty. Fruity and somewhat malty flavor is rather pleasing, if not outstanding. Texture is very smooth and slightly fizzy.

Pretty good for a pilsner. Smooth and crisp, no rusty/metallic or skunky feel to it. There really is no aroma.....almost like water, so even though I am rating it below average it's mainly because it's non-existant. Appearance is also kind of watery, but wth, it's a pilz! Not pee yellow though, has a nice golden color which shows the malts are there. Reflects in the flavor which is mostly barely and caramel malt....almost an 8 on flavor but just can't go that high with this one. Would like to get an economy 6-pack of this to get a better look.

ya! another new offering from shiner, i am so excited, so much so i had to burn myself on the way to the store just to keep the car on the road .. woah, reeks of the Shiner yeast, old used hop, and 60 year old bartender breath .. . uh, this isn't a pilsner .. He's up in his room, sulking, Dad. .. . not special, not that offensive but not smooth either , no balance .. . VERY disappointing after actually kinda looking forward to it... . I was mainly in it for the spankings..

101 pours a golden yellow body with average carbonation a decent head that fades quickly, some lace. Aromas and flavors of barley, and some slight hop hints. Overall its a pretty solid pilsner, not overly aggresive or passive, a good sipper. Worth a try.
