Friar’s Belgian White Ale! Everyone loved the jovial Friar Tuck. His Belgian Ale is a creamy brew flavored with orange peel and coriander for a pleasant citrus-spice sweetness.

A beer of the month club entry for March 2010 -- Sorry to say that wheat (white) beers are not my most favorite style, but this one was enjoyable. A bit of spice could be noted, but it is a little hard for me to say just what spice flavor is more pronounced. Most likely that is good, provides more complexity to figure out on the next bottle.

This beer came as part of my micro brew of the month. Pours a nice orange/copper color. Small white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma of orange and spice. Flavor of orange, coriander, spice, and bananas. Not overly sweet and that's what I like about it.
