On tap @ Bent Elbow - pours an amber-Brown with a smallish cap that laces modestly. Big aroma of peach-pear-musk mellon, over sturdy sweet malts and Belgian yeast funk. Peppery mouth feel. Alcohol is not hot and hidden well. Taste has sweet malts and succulent fruit in balance with some side tones of nuts, earthiness and spicy herbs - goes lightly bitter in the finish but what stands out is the penetrating fruitiness of this ale - nice sipper.
