This beer is dominated by its strong, deep toasty flavors that have a full-bodied finish and a lingering sweetness from the complex mix of malts and Hercules hops shipped straight from Germany. This little girl's beer packs a big punch.

I had this a few weeks ago at the Portland Holiday Ale Fest. It was one of my least favorite at the fest out of 22 beers. I was actually in the town of this place a few months ago, visiting the amazing Silver Falls, and didn't even know about this brewery. That will teach me to travel anywhere and not check the beer compass! Anyway, the beer was dark brown with very little head. Roasted milk chocolate aroma. Lots of alcohol noticeable in a light medium body. Sweet with caramel and not much of a drying in the finish. Flavor was not appealing to me for the strength. It was flavorful, but the sweetness was too much for me.
