About average for the style. Texture and flavor not quite the traditional European feel. Sort of like a Yuengling Black & Tan. Drinkable but forgettable. One of the better ones that I tried from this brewer though.

Another victory for Schlafly. Very drinkable, quite roasty and a deep deep red that would give the great unwashed nightmares. Smoked and roasted malts lend the deep color but don't overpower, yet compliment very well. An superb lager.

Jet black color, roasty aroma. Light body, very smooth and very drinkable.
