Hazy yellow with good straong white foam head. Sticks to glass all the way. Bitter taste with some nuts and earth tones. Good alcohol, perfect carbonated. (Velp, 201108)

De Zeezuiper. The name is funny if you know what it means. I drank it once in a beercafe in Utrecht, Holland. It was served in a bottle with the Scheldebrouwerij glass alongside of it. This brewery only has one type of glass for the many beers they create. The nose has hints of orange and cinnamon and the taste is the same. A bit sweet with the orange peeling in front. The alcohol is not overpowering.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy beige color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light coriander and Belgian malt is quite good. Taste is a nice mix between some spices which probably includes coriander with some Belgian malt with some light funky ester at the end. Full body with limited filtration and some great carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Well done overall and another nice beer form this solid brewery.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, yeast and citrus. Flavour is quite much the same. Quite watery brew. Aftertaste has some mild fruityness and maltyness in it.

Hazy orangey golden colour topped with a small creamy white foam. Dryish aroma of yeast, oranges, red berries and leather. Soft, fruity and warming flavour of over-riped oranges and dried apricots. Aromatic finish of orange-peels and leaves.
