Purchased in Vermont in their Cabin mixed 12-pack. Pours a clean golden colour with a white cap and some decent creamy lace. Grassy hop aromas. Nice fresh Noble hops with some decent bitterness, dryness. Nice mild grain. A good hoppy pilsner.

Orangey gold, a wee bit hazy, with a dense if thin cap. Unexpectedly sweet aroma, something like bubble gum or banana, with dough and just a whiff of something herbal. Banana, toasted rice, and a hint of clove show up in the otherwise bready flavor. Mild suggestion that the beer considered having a bitter finish but thought the better of it; I'm not getting any significant citrus. Not unpleasant, but weird. Maybe I should try this another time, because I don't seem to be tasting what others are.

Pours a dark golden color. Smell is grains, slightly sweet. Taste is crisp, grains, a good bit of hops for this style. Overall a decent summertime beer.

Pours a golden yellow color, fizzy, high carbonation with a white head taht dissipates quickly. The aroma is bready, biscuity malts, and hops. The taste is bready notes up front, malts, biscuit notes, the hops are piney and are evenly balanced with the malt base. The mouthfeel is crisp, lively, the flavor lingers on the palate after each sip.

Pours a nice light amber with a nice white head. Only can smell it when you first open the bottle, otherwise there is not much aroma. Taste is hoppy and smooth. A pretty damn good beer. Will have again.

A really delightful pils. I have to agree with lenusik. One of the nicer pils I've tasted lately. Pours a bright golden with lots of fizz. Crisp herbal taste with lemons, grass and fruit on the nose as well as the palate. Refreshing during this scorching 90 degree week.

One of the best pilseners I have had in a long time. A crisp and refreshing beer that is great for lounging around. A medium gold pour with some cloudiness and a white head. Grains, biscuit and flooral hops are present in the aroma while the flavour is nicely balanced. Great beer.

Extremely pale, a little hazy, white foam head...not impressive unless you are impressed with the way a Pabst pours... Grassy aroma with a touch of hops. Mouthfeel is light but crisp, the flavor is the real draw with this one. Great pilsner malt flavor with just the right touch of hops, really easy to drink and worth picking up.

355ml bottle, racked 4 weeks previous. Pours a hazed pale gold lager in the flute with a sticky white 3 finger cap that lasts and laces well. Moderate carbonation. Aroma is pleasant : Bright citrusy-floral noble tones over a rich bready pale malt aroma...maybe a bit of spice as well. Great flod of flavor in the front with honey-like pale Munich malts balanced off well with noble earthy-spicy bittering. Goes to a clean drying finish with a nice noble hop bite at the end. Man, what a decent summer quaffer and a great rendition of a German Pilsner.

SA delivers a Pilsner worthy of a hot summer day. It was not as hoppy as i imagined it to be though it was nice and smooth. A bit crunchy in the mouth and the aroma wasnt as clean as i had hoper it was nice. Again a brew that was more like a light than a Pilsner. I would drink this again and again.
