50cl bottle pours with a dark amber body that supports a forty second light mocha colored head. The aroma offers up brown sugar, caramel and then other burnt sugars mixed with prunes and date fruitiness. The taste is sweet with brown sugar, molasses and caramel malts mixed with sweet prunes and date fruitiness. Sweet tasting brew.

DArk ruby red with brownish small foam head. Aroma is caramel with hint of coffee. Taste is quite sweet caramel, with coffee, bit too sweet. Short dry aftertaste, carmal, little coffee, little liquorish. (Helsinki 201211)

Pours a dark brown with a white head that dissapears fairly quick. not very much if any carbonation. Aroma is typical of eastern european brews of the type, kinda bland. taste reminds me of some of the Russian brews I have tried of the same style. Overall a brew that is what it is, a drink they use to get drunk not much more not much less. Drinkable.

500 ml bottle, from a potential importer. ABV is 6.7%. Chestnut to mahogany colour, large beige head. Fairly ordinary aroma of lightly toasted malts, brown bread and caramel. The flavour is medium sweet and malty, notes of caramel and brown bread, hints of burnt sugar. Not bad.

Looks like it has be about 5 years since anybody has reviewed this one, so here goes. I found this one to be a kind of a "spank your bottom" kind of a beer with swift kick of molasses flavor and malty undertones. Pours nice and dark with a fully rich mouth feel. Might even be worth the drive to Estonia to get a fresh one!

Probably one of the best dark beers in Estonia. Nice smooth taste. Can't actually feel the alcohol in it, though it is not so light :) Also great appearance.

Dark brown (rusty) colour, quickly disappearng head. Smells roasted and sweet. Flavour is roasted and and sweet malty with also some caramel in it. Wellbalanced and quite smooth palate, though a bit thin.
