A peine servie, elle développe dans le verre un arôme puissant de houblon herbacé. L'amertume plus prononcée est sa caractéristique principale. L'usage d'un houblon noble, le Saaz, lui confère pourtant une amertume peu agressive. La bière est sèche en bouche, servie bien fraîche elle est très rafraîchissante.
