Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
750 ml capped bottle. Poured in a stemmed glass an unfiltered and absolutely opaque mid-brown coloured B A with a two fingers beige and dense foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Some lacing. A lot of ( big ) floating sediments. The aroma is toasted malts, caramel, fruity with unexpected strawberries, spicy, cinnamom and alcoholic notes. The flavour is yeasty, toasted malts, brown sugar, fruity, caramelized apples, pears and spicy, cinnamom. The mouthfeel is fulled, thick, sweety and a bit sticky. The texture is a bit oily. This fulled bodied B A has a dry toasted malts and spicy finish. A very pleasant powerful and flavourful Belgian Ale from a tiny brewery in département Pas de Calais in the North of France.
