A mild dark lager with a distinct character, and closely resembles the lager handcrafted by the German brewmeisters at the original Roslyn Brewery one hundred years ago. We use our own recipe of Roslyn water, fresh from the Cascade Mountains, four types of malted barley and three hop varieties to produce this smooth lager.

Dark brown color. Medium sized tannish head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and toffee. A medium bodied dark lager. Malts are roasty, chocolately and fruity. Hops are slightly grapefruity. Nicely balanced. Lighter mouthfeel, but it has a lot of roasty maltyness to it. Nice beer. Simple, yet unassuming. Nice flavors. Mouthfeel is light. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and toasty
