A yeasty chocolate and whiskey filled aroma. A black appearance with a beige head. The alcohol creeps through a bit on this one. Whiskey, chocolate, coffee, and dark fruit showing up in the flavor. The finish is rather sweet and warming. Top notch Impy Stout!

Poured opaque black with a tan head and nice lacing. Roasty aroma of vanilla and whiskey too. Taste of sweet chocolate and coffee with an alcoholic whiskey finish. Nice relatively thick mouthfeel. The Red line brought us to Wrigleyville, and then this took me home.
