This English-style E.S.B. is both complex and refreshing. Medium-bodied and deep red in color, Ragtop Red has a caramel and toffee maltiness derived from the crystal malts used. This well-rounded malt character is balanced by tangy, apricot flavors from Fuggle hops. Perfect with burgers and pastas.

Five-ounce sample. Poured a clear, dark-reddish color with a small, light-brown head. Good lacing. Sweet caramel aroma. Flavor is more like a Killian's Irish Red than an ESB. Not a bad beer, but probably not an ESB like they state it to be. A little bit of a letdown since I was expecting an ESB, but still very drinkable.
