Smash Series #1- Smash stands for Single Malt and Single Hop. This American Blonde Ale features domestic floor malted pilsner malt for a smooth grain flavor. A new American hop, Belma, provides a mellow, fruity hop character. A touch of dry hopping allows the unique hop character to shine, alongside the subtle grain quality of the malt! Malt used: Rahr Old World Pilsner malt- A floor malted Moravian malt 37, slightly less modified continental style 2 row barley. Hop used: Belma- A very clean hop, with a very orange, slight grapefruit, tropical (but not mango/guava, more like pineapple), strawberry, and melon.

A clear, bright orange-yellow sunshine in color. Bubble are constantly rising in the body. A big sudsy textured white-beige head rises above. There's excellent hang time on that head. A light ringlet and persistent cap are left. In both the nose and tasting, the toral profile is a fruitiness balanced by a light grassy hops. Creamy on the palate.
