Blackened ruby with a nice khaki head. Served in a small snifter. The aroma is alcohol and anise with a good espresso malt. The body is a tad thin, but it has a good warmth going down. Very hoppy. Could use a bit of age on it to meld the flavors a bit. There’s a touch of chocolate in there. Has great potential, but I bought a bottle to cellar for a few
