Our goal with this beer was to make a light and drinkable ale to balance the darker and more alcoholic winter brews on tap. We brewed this beer in the style of the beers brewed in Cologne, Germany: pale, mild and light. Starting Gravity: 10.6°P Alcohol: 4.7 abv Hops: Spalt Malt: Pilsen and Wheat Malts

Yellow body with slight haze. Wispy head. The malt lacks the straw punch of some of the better kolsches, but it has fragrant, musky hops to make up the difference.
