Pour dark brown with mahogany highlight when held up to the light. Foamy 2 finger tan head which left a thin rim on the top of the beer as it sat. Nice spidery lacing. Carob, malted milk balls and roasted malt aromas. Roasted malt, carob and coffee on the tongue. Starts sweet, ends dry and a bit bitter. Alcohol is well hidden. A bit more carbonated than your average milk stout, but not a negative. What appeared as a thin beer, coats the mouth and tongue surprisingly well. Not very complex, but a solid milk stout worth trying.
