ours a clear straw yellow with a decent fluffy white head - average, but not off-putting. Aroma is average strength, malty and just a tad watery. However, the aroma is this beer’s weakest aspect. Flavor is strong, crisp and malty with a fruity overtone. Texture is smooth, lively and fizzy.

Pours a crystal clear pale yellow straw with a high fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet bready notes, noble hop notes of grass and slight spice. The Taste is similar to aroma with nice sweet bready notes and noble hops. Finishes clean and crisp with a nice bready lingering note. The mouth feel is light, crisp, clean, and refreshing. A prefect beer to have with food and on a hot summer day.

Pours a nice amber with a big ass head. Aroma is very malty and lightly lemony. Carbonation is nice and light. Taste is malted and stale. Some metal in the taste as well. Not very good.

Pours a clear gold with a foamy head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Smell is of malt, grain, grass, and hay. Taste is much the same with a mild hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average kolsch.

Clear pale yellow with white lacing foam head. Aroma is stark barley dominated, some yeast, some grass. Taste is mainly barley, little grass. Short aftertaste. (Velp 201311)

Drawn golden straw colored with a fair head and yeasty grassy aroma that is fresh. Mildly carbonated and crisp. Lightly sweet flavor that has a well-balanced malt-hop ratio. Decent.

Had in Koln as well as in bottle form here in the states. Very typical of the style, allthough much better than american versions. Grassy, pils type aroma, piss yellow beer, with a clean and somewhat fruity taste. I would take this over mass marketed light beers anyday.

Tap @ KC Saucer.. decent brew, good to start my night .. . I'm allergic to dogs. And cashews. Throat closes right up for both. I guess my biggest fear would be if a dog, who had eaten some cashews, were to throw up in my mouth. Lucky for me that's only happened once.

A first try for this style. Nice three finger white head when put into my G Schneider wheat glass. Attractive light golden yellow pour. A little caramel and hops in the nose. Thin watery mouth-feel. Easy to drink Still beats domestic beer. OK for a session, would prefer something else if I had a choice.

it is a light ale with a nice thick, creamy foam, a light yellow color. it we booked a very large lightness faithful to Kolsch, it offers a nice smell of fresh flowers. I find it nice and tasty for this type of beer.
