Slim Chance light ale combines the best attributes of a crisp, refreshing ale without the extra calories. Golden kilned malt and a touch of wheat create this smooth, satisfying ale that is not your typical light beer.

A light golden appearance on this one. The aroma is of corn and lemons. The flavor is not offensive in any way but not good in any way either. This is the most neutral beer ever. Nothing bad or nothing good to say. So I say give it exactly a median score of 2.5 and move right the hell on!

The beer shoed a clear golden color with a frothy white head. Had a mild grainy aroma with a bland flavor and a thin mouthfeel. Would make a nice stepping stone for a BMC drinker, but not to my liking.

This one pour a hazy yellow beer. If there was a head, I must have blinked. It disappeared all too quickly, with no lacing left behind. The aroma is barely detectable. Crisp body. Some carbonation. The taste is so watered down. Downright bland, Glad I only had one of these.

I was just looking in the mirror today, and said "boy, are you fat!?!" ..thank goodness they made a light beer for the overweight beer drinker ... . Pours a standard gold with a low fizzy head ... and whats the deal with airline food ... . light corn husk in the nose .. . gambling is great, no doubt about it .. . hmmm, some flavours , light corn and other light sweet notes .. . scott fell last week and hasn't shut up about it since ... . If this was on tap at shitty BMC bars (95% of all bars) and it was a mystery $2 pint deal, this would replace butt light in a week! ... that being said, it lacks any real micro brew flavours, but it gives you what it says... a light golden ale, no frills, and not offensive .. .

Sampled on 4/21/2009. This light/blond ale pours a medium yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and grassy, touch of sweetness. A light bodied blonde ale, designed as a light beer. The malts are grassy, fruity and slightly sweet. The hops are slightly spicy and grassy. The description of this beer as a light blond ale fits this beer fairly well. It has some flavors but they are so light it’s hard to figure out if this beer is good or bad. It’s a hot day here so it doesn’t taste all that bad. Kinda fizzy, but light and refreshing. If you want something low in alcohol that still has some flavor this might be a good choice. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is crisp and dry. Rather nice really. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pour is golden in color (a bit darker than most light american lagers) with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is faint but I detect hints of grass, wheat, and sweet malt. Taste is surprisingly crisp and refreshing with a nice clean finish. Overall, a very tasty light beer.
