This golden ale decants a deep straw and pours a billowing and frothy bleached white cap. The aroma is that of refreshing zesty hops, mint leaves, fresh pear, a bit of citrus too. The flavour profile is a perfect match for summer on a patio. Sweet fruit (pears) pair up well with the acidic citrus (lemon) and the floral hops. A bit of anise follows towards the finish. Very nice head retention which speaks to the excellent quality of the ingredients used.
