Pretty new brew by Ragutis in Horn family. And, as far as I remember, first strong Horn lager. For sure I am not a stron lagers' fan and very rarely any of them can satisfy me. But still Horn Strong is rather pleasantly drinkable and has no that irritating alcohol domination so common for Lithuanian strong lagers. Fresh malty aroma with some caramel traces, clear light amber coloured brew with white bubbly forma of average thickness. Rather dry in a mouth, intense and medium to full bodied. Goes intensely malty with a wide range of spices: some black bread, chocolate and caramel taste. The flavour is pretty balanced, strong alcohol concentration is perfectly covered by pleasant malty expression and short but intense hint of hops at the end. Has smooth and soft malty-hoppy aftertaste. It is very solid brew, intense in flavour, so after 0.33 it becomes somehow harsh, but that first part goes with great pleasure. This brew gives me a chance to enjoy strong lagers. Recommended.
