Unique kolsch from Purple Skull brewing; made with their signature purple corn. Clear orange in colour. Aromas and flavours of apple, toasted cereal and light fruit, with grassy/herbal notes. On the palate, this is rich and slight sweet with a crisp balanced finish. Serve in a tall glass to best appreciate its appearance.

Clean, golden colour with an amber-pinkish hue, a big frothy cap that is whitish-purplish with good retention and full lacing. Big hop aromas with some grassiness-herbs, a touch of spiciness and a malt-corn base. The taste is milder, but still has bite with the hops adding to the maltiness. Seems more like a Pilsner with the light spicy notes, and less cereal grain Kölsch-like feel. Easy-drinking, refreshing and kind of unique with the purple corn - but nice to not be too corny.
