Every holiday we brew an ale to celebrate that special time of the year. Often spiced with your typical holiday spices, Wassail is brewed to warm the bones and warm the cheeks. This year our Wassail is based on the style of beer known as Dubbel, brewed by Trappist monks of Belgium for hundreds of years. We added cloves and cinnamon to add some holiday to this classic style. The result is cider-sweet, malty ale with a slight clove, gingerbread aroma. No hops here, well very little. Happy Holidays.
