750 ml capped bottle bought at the brewery. Poured a gushing and unfiltered opaque ruby-brown coloured Amber Ale with a short one finger beige soapy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. No carbonation. No lacing. Some floating sediments. The aroma is aromatic hops, caramel malts and notes of coffee. The flavour is sweety caramel malts, grainy, brown sugar, dried fruits, walnuts and a pleasant hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is round, quite thick and a bit sticky. This medium bodied Amber Ale has a dry sweety finish. An easy drinkable Amber Ale from a tiny brewery in Burgundy but watch out for the well hidden ABV, 8.0 % !
