Akin to a traditional English Pale Ale, our ESB (Extra Special Bitter) is a balanced, medium-strength ale. Deep amber in color, ESB is one of the true, great session beers. Moderately fruity esters, a nearly-sweet caramel character, and Brit-grown Fuggle hops give this living legend a perfectly balanced, medium-dry finish. Grab a friend, grab a pint, and a session will surely follow.

Sampled on 10/13/2012 at GABF. This ESB pours a medium gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied Extra Special Bitter. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal. Slightly sweet throughout the taste. Decent session ale. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
