Clear dark amber color with light brown foam head. Aroma and taste are caramel dominated with some nutty tones in aroma. Taste bit flat. (Moscow 201310)

Pours a very thin layer of head that doesn't stay long at all. Has a dark amber appearance with light reddish hues. Fairly weak lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, light toffee and caramel notes. Flavours of coffee and mild chocolate. Makes me think of a light watery version of a stout, which is sort of what this is, a dark lager. Has all the characteristics of a stout but just doesn't have the thickness or the body. Sort of a watery mouthfeel but still very flavourful. Mild carbonation. medium retention. Pretty good and quite surprising.

Pretty standard beer for the style. Pleasant. Nothing that stands out for better or worse. Light roast, sweet bready malt, hints of coffee and nuts. Very lightly hopped.

Pours a clear, darker brown with a decent head that goes down fast. Aroma is smells of something dead at first but goes away. Taste is kinda rancid and caremely. Finishes off non existant. Not my cup of tea, or beer in this case. Meh!

Nice dark brown color with huge light brown head. Aroma is a bit weak with hints to cookies and hops. Taste is nicely bready and smooth and round. Aftertaste has just a right amount of bitterness in it. Really an good dark lager, not that I'm saying that other Czech dark lagers are not good.
