Till I drank this Imperial Mole Stout I thought I knew the answers, I thought a blend of Ancho, Mulato and Pasilla Chillies and Cacao Nibs was all a body needs. It wouldn’t be surprising nowadays.

440 ml can, from KWM Wines & Spirits. ABV is 11%. Pitch black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate / cocoa, hints of coffee and chili. Warming mouthfeel. The flavour is too sweet, with the same elements as the aroma, but now with more distinct chili, which leaves a moderate but nice chili throatburn.
