Pretty dark but clear with brown foam head, lasting and lacing to glass. Aroma is sweet caramel, taste is somewhat flat, bit disappointing. Short bittersweet aftertaste. (Velp 201210)

I had this on tap in Pilsen, Czech Republic...Really nice aroma and roasty goodness. very mild and smooth for a doppelboch. It had some nice lacing (i've learned that is more about the cleanliness of the glass) and caramel amber in color. I purchased the proper Master's glass, but alas, I may have to travel back toward Prague to have another..oh well :)

Draught. Deep murky brown head with mediumsized foamy brown head. Aroma is mildly roasted malts along with some grass and a weird sour note. Flavour is mildly roasted, some caramel and quite much sweetness. The alcohol doesn’t show except for a nice warming touch in the throat when the beers goes down.
