I've never had a more unusual beer. I'm not sure how to rate it. There isn't a value for 'weird'..If there were, it would get a 10 weird for aroma from me..I had my nose in the mug for five minutes before I would take a drink. What IS that...I suppose it's only anise and wasn't prepared for it. After tasting it, though, I am quite pleased. I like it! It has the mouthfeel of champagne, It's way too pricey to buy often , but would love to have others try it and give me their impressions... very spicy, yes, but middle eastern spices (guess the name was a clue, huh) YOu won't want this with your enchiladas...promise..
