Pours clear, bright amber with a thick ivory head. Aroma offers crisp fresh malt, sweetish apple, and hay-like hops. Flavor yields crisp malt and a hint of woody hops, but the apple seems to have disappeared. Texture features so-so fizz and body. One of these days, somebody will make a "near beer" that can pass for the real stuff.

Can from the LCBO. Pours a clean golden colour with a white frothy cap that does stay pretty long, and foamy lacing is left. Smells quite nice at first pour with the coriander grasses from the hops over the caramel malts. Then, the hops calm down a bit and the cereal grains show up. The taste is where it goes down. Not in a bad way. Just mild. Still, some decent hoppiness found and hints of grains. The malt is just really mild. The mouthfeel is quite thin, but some dryness saves it. Some honey notes I keep on finding in low-alcohol beers. All-around, a much better brew for the alcohol content.

The beer pours a translucent medium gold colour with a huge white head which quickly disappears into a fine film covering the surface. The aroma has citrusy hop notes, grassy notes, and some salty notes. The mouthfeel is very thin with below average carbonation. The flavour is weak grains with hints of wet cardboard and a weak bitter finish. There is also a doughy note that comes through in both the aroma and flavour in a strong way. There are beers on this site that taste worse than this, so I will give it credit from that standpoint, but this is not a good beer unless rated to style
