"** I bought this as a part of a discounted 5-pack. After reviewing the third beer, I'm seeing a trend that surely indicates these beers must be past their use-by date.... hence the discount *** I had to really fight to get a head.... but if it's modelled on a true hand-pulled English bitter, then that's OK. We'll see... So, no head. Paleish apricot/amber, with a subtle haze. Light aroma of toffee, some fruitiness perhaps. I've just tasted their Pale ale before this.... almost a dead-ringer, except maybe there is more fruit ?? This is diluted apricot juice. There is absolutely NO BITTERNESS AT ALL. The web-site claims four-stage hopping.
