Aroma is rich, malty and yeasty with just a hint of caramel. It pours a clear dark coppery amber, almost mahogany, with a minimal head. Flavor is malty and fruity with caramel and spicy hints, and just a little honey-like sweetness. Texture is smooth and just a little tingly. OK, give the folks in Argentina a decent chance, and they will produce a truly great beer!

This beer is on sale at my local liquor store, and one of the guys there REALLY likes it. I like red ale a lot, and I think this is pretty flavorful, although it has a pretty weak head and a little grassy hops overtone.

Murky reddish amber pour with little head nor lacing. Wet malty aroma with oranges, some ripe fruits, a bit of wet dog unfortunately. Taste is not too much different; almost too sweet maltiness, weird medicinal alcohol, barnyard which is unwelcome. Not good, poured it out.

A murky copper color with a tiny beige head. The aroma contains some caramel, candy goodness, and molasses. The flavor is rather malty with some cherries, citrus, and caramel. The palate is a bit thin on this one. Overall this is pretty much a clone of my long time buddy Mendocino Eye of The Hawk........which = a big beer that hides the booze well, offers up ok flavors, reasonable cost! I kind of like it!

Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6
An amber colored beer. Small soapy textured off white head rises briefly above. Settles fairly quickly, leaving a thin ringlet. This is mostly malt. Some grassy hops in the tasting. But sweet, caramel malt in the nose and tasting dominates. A medium bodied, creamy tasting beer. Makes this one a drinkable beer.

Pours out in a clear amber colour with a thick creamy white foam. Red berries, caramel, fudge and grass in the somewhat stale aroma. medium-bodied with notes of fudge, butter, vanilla, yellow fruits and grass. Malty finish of berries, fudge and butter. Decent beer if a bit lifeless and stale.

Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, some malts and hops. Also quite metallic stuff. Flavour is caramel, some hops and slight notes of alcohol. Surpriingly clean for being Argentinian.
