In Gaelic, the name of our stout translates as Black Gold, and all it takes is one glance to see why. Classified as an lrish Dry Stout, we brew Or Dubh (pronounced or dubv) with "Dublin" soft water and lots of roasted barley. It takes a minute to pour, but the thick, creamy head is well worth the wait!

Straight from the brewpub, Or Dubh Stout has a thick, creamy, carmel coloured head that leaves heavy lacing and is a beautiful deep chestnut colour. Aromas of coffee and molasses, and a deep, full mouthfeel that washes down very smoothly. Tastes as dark as it looks, with the coffee aroma prominent. The brew of choice in the Olde Stone.
