Dunkel is a Munich-style dark winter lager. Smooth, with a roasted malt flavor courtesy of Dark munich and Carafa malts, Dunkel will please your palette as it warms your spirit. It could be the perfect answer to a dark, cold winter's day. If you're looking for a beer that has substantial body and flavor, yet remains very smooth and easy drinking, choose Dunkel. 4.9% ABV.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Pours clear caramel with a good buff head that leaves fair lacing. Aroma gives clove, toasted malt, caramel and slight woody notes. Flavor provides toasted malt, clove, cinnamon, caramel and piney hops. Texture offers decent body and peppy fizz. Go dark.

Pours dark copper brown with low to no head that becomes a mere white ringlet with mild lacing. Aroma has a slight roast. Mouth is a bit weak. Flavor is quite nice for the style, very enjoyable.
