    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

Strong, malty aroma has a fruity aroma that is mainly apple and has a note of apple. It pours a clear, rather wan straw yellow with a thick, if not persistent, fluffy white head. OK, so this is a pils, maybe I should give it a break. Flavor has malty and fruity components, apple with some grapefruit and hints of banana and pear. Texture is fairly fizzy but, it seems, on the thin side. Maybe a pilsner fan will appreciate this one more than I do, since I prefer darker beers such as stouts and brown ales.

Clear yellow, a bit darker than the light, but with the same sudsy head. The aroma is faint and the flavor lacks the hop aroma and much of the flavor of some of the better pils I’ve had this trip. Drinkable, but I’d take the light over this I think.
