Track 85 is inspired by the epic feat of uniting Canada with the last spike driven in 1885. It celebrates the impossible challenges of forging a steel spine through ice, rock and wilderness. Cold-Lagered for crispness, Track 85 is a delicate balance of subtle fruit notes and a mellow finish. It’s one crisp ride!

Not sure what a "lagered ale" is, but the page here says this is a kolsch. I suppose it is, though it didn't really taste like one. It's very smooth and tastes exactly the same out of glass as out of can. Definitely has more of an ale taste than a lager. The appearance, alas, is the only true let down. Really thin cap, and the colour didn't do much for me wither. The aroma was really nice though.

473ml can. Pours a small foamy beige that goes away quite quickly and has a light golden amber appearance. Aromas of toasted malts, hints of caramel and resin hops. Flavours are quite similar, toasty and bready malts, subtle caramel hints. Average carbonation. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Not bad, drinks easily and not too heavy.

Pours a clean amber colour with an off-white cap that does not stay too long, but does leave some decent lace. Fruity malt aromas with caramel notes and some different smell. A mix of rusty water, vanilla, sharp plastic and leaves. The flavours have some roasted malts, bread notes, caramel and the weird hops again. Not as bad as it sounds, but the balance is not there because of this. The malts are fine.

The beer pours a translucent light golden orange with a thin white cap of little bubbly islands. The aroma is grains, musty hops, and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is very grainy with a light bitter finish. Very little defining characteristics in this beer.
