"In lieu of flowers, please pay someone's open bar tab, smoke a bowl, and fearlessly carve out some fresh lines through the trees on the gnarliest side of the mountain.” Uncle Bunky’s Grawdoo was created to remember Randall Jacobs and benefit Arizona dive bars affected by the pandemic. OHSO honors Uncle Bunky’s final wishes, using the proceeds to cover patrons’ tabs, tip employees and give back to the industry in Uncle Bunky’s name and much-beloved character. When the end drew near, he left us with one final Bunkyism: "I'm ready for the dirt nap, but you can't leave the party if you can't find the door." He found the door, but the party will never be the same without him. It’s a Malt Liquor- 8% ABV.

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7

Pint can pours with a crystal clear pale gold body that supports a thin head of white foam. The aroma offers up pure sweetness in the form of sugary apple wedges and a sense of booze. The taste delivers sweet apple and pear fruity esters giving way to a nice sweet corn sensation. The sweetness ramps up to midway where typically the harsh chemical booze common for this style creates a sense of regretful balance. But here the booze is restrained leaving the sweetness to run amuck. The corn sweetness doubles back in the after taste to provide a pleasing finish to the experience. This just needs that boozy heat and burn to make it a more perfect malt liquor.
