its a very smooth beer that has pretty good flavor the color is almost like a pale ale. i also like how they give direction on how to enjoy the beer at it best.

Aroma is strong, wheaty and yeast, about average for a wheat but still inviting. It pours a clear canary with a white head that does not persist too long. I prefer my wheats hazy - but let’s see how it tastes. And - hey, pretty decent flavor, if not outstanding. Wheaty, yeasty, with a firm overtone of sweet lemon. Yes, sweet lemon. Very refreshing in Atlanta’s murderous heat! Texture has good body for a wheat and plenty of fizz. If not a great wheat, still worthy of a try, especially if you like this style.

Sampled on 9/26/2012. This Wheat ale pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy and wheaty, some cereal and some sweetness. A light to medium bodied wheat beer. The malts are fruity, cereal and sweet. The hops are citrusy and spicy. Decent carbonation. Interesting, kind of citrusy for a wheat, Perhaps a touch thin. Mouthfeel is round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

A vigorous pour into my 25cl tulip glass produces a four finger thick, pale tan colored head. The beer is an amber color that shows a mostly clear, copper-gold color when held up to the light. The aroma is a mix of grassy wheat, pale crackers, fresh thrushed hay and a touch of herbal hop notes. The nose is quite clean of any fermentation character, though it maybe has a hint of green apple if you really dig for it. Not a bad nose, but fairly un-inspired.
There is a nice grassy grain character to this up front, as it moves across the tongue it picks up some toasty, biscuit like malt flavor, fresh crushed wheat character and a soft bread-like note. The finish has a touch of something that seems a bit metallic, perhaps tinny, and it also finishes a bit flat. A herbal hop note lingers in the finish, but strangely isn’t all that appealing. There is also a touch of bitterness that seems to come more to the fore the longer into the finish I get; it remains a light note though and perhaps even has a peppery edge to it.
There is not a whole lot going on here; this is a straight forward example of an American Wheat beer. Even when judged against the style though, it doesn’t seem to achieve quite the rusticity that something like Widmer manages to even achieve. This seems a bit too clean, even for an American Wheat. Not bad though, and certainly far from objectionable.

Smells well.. wheaty and bready with some citric to it. Pours a nice sunshine yellow with a nice foamy white head that did last. Good carbonation that tingled a bit but was an ok touch. Clean finish. Flavor was mild wheat, some spice but pretty average.. Not a bad beer just not Great.

Pours a tasty honey-gold appearance with thin white head and excellent lace. Fresh aroma of lemon/citrus, hops, and mild spices. The mouthfeel is smooth, mild-bodied, although a bit weak. Flavor of wheats, lemon/citrus, hops, and honey. This is one of my favorite all-season drinking beers.

Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is dishwater. Flavour of wheat and very much citrus fruits. Pleasant wheat and caramel in finish & aftertaste. Refreshing, but nothing very special.

Yellow cloudy apperance, nice white head that leaves some lacing. Lemony aroma. Not a huge fan of wheat beers, but this one is pretty good, I like this one better than Boulevard.

12 oz bottle. Pours a glowing hazy dirty yellow with a fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is lemoney wheat.
The flavor is a little citrus with a grainy earthy wheat flavor. It has a lightly bitter citric finish. The mouthfeel is medium with soft carbonation and is a little watery.
Overall, I don't really care for American wheat beers, but this is a well done version. I'm happy to grab it at places where more adventurous micros aren't available. -

Hazy golden. Dull aroma of oranges and banana. Clean flavour with a subtle yeastinees of lemon and banana. Short finish. Rather fizzy, another boring american wheat
