Bottle. Poured a clear reddish copper colored ale with a huge beige foamy head that had a long retention. Nice lacing. Mid-sized carbonation. The aroma is fruity, sour cherries, citrus and caramel malts. The flavour is roasted malts, sweet red fruits, woody, oak, caramel, hints of nuts. The palate is very smooth and mild. The finish of this medium bodied ale is swwet malty and red fruits.

Draught. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is strong caramel malts along with some toffee and mild fruits and sweet nectar. Flavour is very malty, some fruits and some mild earthyness. Caramel and fruits mainly in the aftertaste.

600 ml brown bottle, a gift from Tom, thanks! Redddish brown colour, relatively pale, slightly hazy. Large and creamy lingering head. Pleasant aroma with notes of red fruits, malts and oak, hints of leather and caramel. Flavour is reasonably malty with some sourish fruity notes, mouthfeel is maybe a tad too thin, moderate hops in the finish / aftertaste.

Brown appearance, almost no foam. Vague aroma of lemon and toffee. Flavour of nuts, metal and citrus with a short toffeeish aftertaste with a slippery mouthfeel.
