This beer is no joke. False Peak is a Blonde Stout with strong aromatics of coffee and hazelnut brewed with locally sourced cacao nibs from True Spice Foods and coffee from Because Coffee. The taste is velvety and chocolatey with a slight bitterness and medium bodied mouthfeel. Don't be fooled by this beer's light golden blonde appearance, the make up is stout through and through

Pours slightly hazy amber with a fair parchment head. Aroma provides coffee, cocoa, nutty, slight fruity tones. Flavor contributes coffee, chocolate, nutty, citrus and tropical fruit, fresh malt. Texture delivers good body and lively fizz. Nothing false about it.
