The Chocolate Wheat IPA is a summer beer with depth of flavour. By combining the refreshing elements of a wheat beer with the flavour of an IPA, it provides the perfect pint for warm weather. The subtle hints of chocolate on the nose comes from the unique addition of Chocolate Wheat in the brewing process. Also, using a higher quantity of hops than is normally found in a wheat beer gives it a more robust taste. Combined, these element keeps the light, refreshing elements that makes wheat beers popular in the summer, but adds an interesting twist on the flavour. Ingredients – Canadian two row, Chocolate Wheat, and Dark Wheat malts. Nugget, Cascade and Goldings hops.

On tap at Arrow and Loon. Doesn't have a very big head, just a very thin layer. Has a dark amber appearance. Weak lacing. Aromas are a little wheaty, some faint chocolate notes. Flavours are mainly earthy type hops, yeasty and wheaty. The chocolate is much more pronounced in the finish, was not very noticeable at first. Quite sweet and malty as well. Average carbonation. Slick and smooth mouthfeel.
